I was booted by a mod named Krempasky who stated the following:

Furthermore I would like to point out that in the years since I wrote my "boneheaded" diary, Rush Limbaugh and others have often joked about al Queda backing Democrats.
So my question now that you can see things in retrospect, was I cutting edge? Or just offensive?
